A total of 39 Transgenders residing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad participated in the workshop. The workshop was led by Ms. Kiran Rukhsana, an experienced trainer, and assisted by Mr. Arslan Mehmood, well known educator.

The workshop adopted an interactive approach, employing diverse activities and resources curated to bolster English language proficiency, nurture critical thinking capabilities, and cultivate leadership qualities within the Transgender community across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad. Through dynamic discussions and problem-solving exercises, participants refined their critical thinking abilities. Leadership-oriented sessions, facilitated by Ms. Kiran Rukhsana and Mr. Arslan Mehmood, provided participants with essential tools and knowledge to enhance their leadership potential. The training was really good overall. We learned a lot of new things. There were some English vocabulary words we knew, but we didn’t know how to use them properly. Through this training, we learned how to use them correctly. We hope to have more platforms like this for the transgender community. Many thanks to the Peace Foundation and RELO for this opportunity.
